TS-3000 Series Cylinder Head Systems
The System 3000 Series Milling Machines have been designed specifically for the US high-performance engine rebuilding market. The machines can transfer from cylinder heads to blocks in 45 seconds. The workpiece is aligned with an indicator sliding on linear ways and has fine feed adjustment in all directions. The cast-iron cutter-plate uses either CBN or PCD to accommodate all possible surface finishes. The cutter height indicator brings the cutter plate to the workpiece without danger of accidental contact with no guessing of the height. The traverse is infinitely variable for the finest of finishes. Cylinder heads, intake manifolds, V-blocks, inline blocks and many other parts can be quickly mounted and cut. This is the most rigid machine available and is designed to be the last surfacer you will ever have to invest in.

The TS-3000HM CBN Mill is designed to resurface cylinder heads only. The HM model will cut up to a 37" workpiece using a 13" cutter plate to accommodate all domestic and import standard automotive applications. This machine is perfect for the high-performance machine shops that specialize in cylinder head rebuilding and design.
The TS-3000 BlockMate High-Speed CBN Mill is our flagship milling machine and was designed for the automotive high-performance engine builder. The BlockMate has a 14" cutter plate with capacity for automotive heads, V-style and inline blocks (5.9L Cummins included), intake manifolds and miscellaneous flat-surface parts such as carburetor flanges, flat flywheels and numerous industrial parts. Angle milling a set of 350 Chevy heads .100" can be accomplished in twenty minutes, floor to floor. Changeover time between cylinder heads and blocks is 45 seconds and it takes about twenty minutes to square deck a V-8 block. The versatility of this machine is unmatched and a superb choice for any automotive or racing machine shop.
The TS-3000XL Heavy Duty CBN Mill has all of the features of the BlockMate with an extra twenty inches of cutting capacity, a full 60" travel. The cradle is ten inches longer to accommodate diesel heads and the cutter plate diameter is increased from 14" to 16". This machine will resurface any diesel cylinder head up to 56" with rigidity and accuracy to match.
The System 5000 High-Speed CBN Mill was T&S Machines' original CBN surfacer introduced in 1998. Weighing in at almost 3 tons the System 5000 is the best value in the industry today for any shop that wants the capability of resurfacing whatever comes in the door from standard automotive to large diesel heads and blocks. The Rapid Setup Cradle, V-Block Alignment System and Ball-Screw Traverse create a precision workhorse that will cut smooth and effortless with no backlash to a mirror finish.
